LVM Traders No 31 t/a Waterbok Civils & Engineering was established by the incorporation of Van Rooyen Transport and Van Rooyen Earthmoving & Mining into one company. The incorporated companies were established in 1995 and the incorporation took place in 2002, when the owners (Pieter), due to fast growing and development, recognised an opportunity to develop a leading company in the mining, rehabilitation, earthmoving, transport, civils and engineering industry.
With more than 40 years' experience in the mining, rehabilitation, earthmoving, transport civils and engineering and construction industry, Pieter had the appropriate background to start a company with a solid foundation, from which an industry leader was developed. Adding strength to the company includes the employment of highly qualified engineers, electricians, mechanics, earthmoving, civils and mining experts. This provides an injection to the rapid growing company and gives LVM the required edge to go from strength to strength.
LVM’s main emphasis was on earthmoving, mining, transport and various successful projects were completed until they realized that the opportunity existed to grow even further. By the end of 2002 the father and son team decided to pull together for a project, then called "Eggo Sand", now Rolfes Silica, specializing in project management, earthworks, construction, loading, mining, supporting services and roads.
The company operates under one branch namely LVM Traders No 31cc t/a Waterbok Civils & Engineering.
